Business Days Calculator
Count weekdays between dates or calculate a date after a set number of business days. Weekends are excluded; public holidays are not deducted.
How to use the calculator
- Choose Count days for a date range, or Add days for a future date.
- Enter the dates or number of weekdays, then select Calculate.
- Subtract public holidays separately if they apply to your location.
Example
Monday, January 5 through Friday, January 9, 2026 is 5 business days when counting both endpoints. Adding 5 business days to Monday, January 5 gives Monday, January 12; the start date is not counted.

FAQ
Are the start and end dates included?
Yes. Each date counts if it falls on Monday through Friday.
Does the calculator exclude public holidays?
No. It counts weekdays only. Holiday rules differ by country and region, so subtract any applicable holidays separately.
When adding days, does the start date count?
No. Add days starts with the next weekday after the selected start date.
